Kids learn best when they can be hands-on. So Countdown2K is an app they can play and interact with. First, there is a registration screen that allows a parent to register themselves to be able to access the games. Once they log in, the app covers topics in three main categories: General Knowledge and Mathematics, Language and Communication Development, and Social and Emotional Development.
In the General Knowledge and Mathematics category, I have developed 5 interactive games. One teaches kids to Sort and Classify objects like vehicles, fruits, animals, flowers, trees. Other games in this section teaches kids to notice similarities and differences, another one teaches them to identify basic colors, and another game teaches them to count in a sequence up to 10.
In the Language and Communication Development category, there are 5 other interactive games. One teaches them to learn their full name, their home address, phone number, and birthday. There is also a word game and a picture sorting game. Another one shows them how to count sets of objects up to 10.
In Social and Emotional Development section, there are 3 interactive games. The app helps them with playing and sharing with other children, following simple rules and routines, and expressing their own needs and wants.
